ETF Capital Markets Lead

Job description

Confidential search for an ETF Capital Markets Lead at a leading global ETF business. This is a senior, high-impact role owning capital markets strategy, liquidity and key trading relationships.

The Role:

• Lead the capital markets function for a large, fast-growing ETF platform
• Own senior relationships with APs, market makers, brokers and trading venues
• Set and drive liquidity, spreads and market structure strategy across core ETF ranges
• Oversee primary & secondary market activity, trading performance and execution quality
• Partner with sales, product and portfolio management on new launches, cross-listings and trading solutions
• Represent the platform with exchanges and industry bodies on ETF trading and market structure topics.

What they are looking for

• Strong experience in ETFs, equity/capital markets, market making or trading
• Deep understanding of ETF structure, primary/secondary markets and market microstructure
• Strong network across APs, MMs, brokers, platforms and exchanges
• Proven track record improving liquidity, spreads and trading outcomes
• Comfortable with market data and trading analytics (e.g. Bloomberg, Tradeweb etc.)
• Excellent stakeholder and leadership skills, able to influence senior internal and external partners
