Head of Hardware Compliance & Quality

Salary: £90k–£105k

Job Description:

Lead a cross-functional team to ensure kids' consumer electronics meet international safety, regulatory, and quality standards. This role drives the international compliance strategy, owns product compliance data, and integrates quality requirements throughout the product lifecycle, fostering a culture of proactive quality enhancement within a rapidly scaling platform.

What you will do:

• Define and drive the international product compliance strategy, serving as the primary point of contact.
• Lead a team, manage third-party consultants, and own product compliance labeling, testing, and certification.
• Implement and maintain quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and oversee supplier quality.
  
  

The ideal candidate:

• Proven experience in compliance leadership and quality assurance for consumer electronics or hardware.
• Strong knowledge of international safety and regulatory standards, with experience in external product testing.
• Demonstrated people management skills and experience implementing ISO 9001 or equivalent QMS.
