The Company

Our client, is a prestigious Lloyd's Broker, with multiple offices across the globe and their head office based in the heart of the City. Specialising in various Non-Marine and Marine business classes, where they provide innovative insurance and reinsurance solutions to their global partners, they are now seeking an experienced Marine Account Handler / Broker Support within their successful, dynamic and stable Marine Division.

As a Marine Account Handler / Broker Support, you will be working closely with a Producer, in a technical role with plenty client and market involvement, where you will also assist in the servicing and renewing of the lucrative portfolio consisting of International (US Biased) Hull & Machinery, War, MII and Liabilities.

Role Duties

• Working collaboratively with the Producing Broker and providing full back-up and administrative support
• Creating timely and accurate MRC Slips and Endorsements
• Assisting with the servicing of client accounts and provide a high level of service to ensure clients are renewing policies
• Building and maintaining client and market relationships
• Dealing with queries and enquiries in a professional manner
• Ensure all internal record systems and databases are maintained accordingly
• Attending client and insurer meetings

About You

• A minimum of 8-10 + years of experience in working for a Lloyd's Broker in a Technical Marine role
• Competent in producing client and market documentation (MRC Slips and Endorsements)
• A strong knowledge of Marine Risks - Hull & Machinery, War and MII
• Excellent communication and attention to detail skills
