We are looking for someone like you. We’re currently recruiting for a Transport Administrator / Supervisor to be based at Preston brook, Runcorn alongside our customer Saint Gobain interior solutions. You will be working Monday – Thursday 13:30-22:00 and Friday 11:30- 20:00

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £32,000. We offer 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. You’ll have access to a variety of high street discounts, cycle to work scheme, a workplace pension and many other perks.

 


What you’ll do on a typical day:

 

  • Co-ordinate the transport operations on site and on customer premises to meet both customer and company expectations
  • Work closely with the onsite customer ensuring all operational requirements are met.
  • Maintain a health and safety presence on site and challenge noncompliance.
  • Ensure vehicle defects are reported and actioned in a timely manner
  • Ensure that all drivers are compliant with the working time directive regulations and that any accidents/incidents are investigated in a timely manner
  • Continually look to improve the service we provide offering ideas and recommendations as necessary.

 


What you need to succeed at XPO:

 

  • Transport experience not essential, However must have strong administrative skills
  • Have a positive attitude
  • Excellent communication skills – you’ll be speaking regularly with various stakeholders
  • Good understanding of Microsoft packages including Excel and Outlook
  • Knowledge of SAP would be advantageous but not essential.
