Who We're Looking For
We welcome applications from around the world! Ideal candidates will have:
- A degree from a Top 30 U.S. University (strongly preferred)
- Applicants from AUSNZ or LATAM regions: U.S. Educational background not required, but project management experience is essential
- Strong backgrounds in STEM, Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related fields are especially valued
- Passion for mentorship, leadership development, and education innovation
As a Capstone Mentor, you’ll guide students through their personalized leadership project journey, helping them develop ideas, execute strategic plans, and reach tier-specific outcomes. These projects are central to students’ college applications and personal development.
Core Responsibilities
- Mentor students through regular meetings and structured checkpoints
- Support proposal development, tier milestone tracking, and final submission
- Assist students in managing expert consultations and building impactful community-focused projects
- Monitor and manage project timelines, ensuring students stay on track
- Collaborate with internal teams (Strategists & Admins) to ensure a seamless mentorship experience
- Around 5 hours per week (or more)
- Flexible scheduling — you choose which students to work with
- Mentors must commit to supporting students through project completion
Compensation is based on your professional background, expertise, and educational experience. You will be paid for live session time, which includes:
- 1 hour session
- ~15 minutes preparation
- ~10 minutes session summary
- ~10-15 minutes follow-up/research
- Work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
- Make a real impact on students’ futures
