Job Description:
- We are looking for an experienced Liquidity Product Owner to lead the design, delivery, and enhancement of liquidity management platforms within a leading banking environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of liquidity management, treasury operations, and major payment systems, with the ability to translate business needs into actionable product features.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the product vision, roadmap, and delivery for liquidity and cash management platforms.
- Work closely with Treasury, Risk, and Payments teams to gather requirements and define product features.
- Deliver capabilities for liquidity monitoring, intraday liquidity, cash forecasting, and funding management.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory liquidity standards (LCR, NSFR, BCBS248, PRA/ECB reporting).
- Translate business needs into user stories and manage the product backlog.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to drive end-to-end delivery in an Agile environment.
- Support real-time liquidity tools related to payment schemes (SWIFT, CHAPS, SEPA, RTGS, TARGET2).
- Provide subject matter expertise on liquidity flows, funding strategies, and cash positions.
Must-Have Skills:
- Strong experience as a Product Owner in banking or financial services.
- In-depth knowledge of liquidity management, treasury products, and funding processes.
- Understanding of payment clearing and settlement systems (SWIFT, CHAPS, SEPA, RTGS, Fedwire).
- Hands-on exposure to liquidity regulations (LCR, NSFR, BCBS248).
- Ability to write clear user stories and manage Agile delivery.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience with liquidity dashboards, forecasting tools, and intraday monitoring platforms.
- Knowledge of data analytics, liquidity reporting, or treasury technology.
- Familiarity with cloud-based solutions or API-driven platforms.
