Group Accountant in City Of London

Job description

Our client is seeking a Group Accountant to join their finance team. This is a key role responsible for delivering accurate and timely financial reporting across the Group, including consolidations, statutory accounts, and month-end processes. The position requires strong technical accounting expertise, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively within a multi-entity environment.

Required Skills & Experience

• ACA / CA qualified accountant with 1-2 years post-qualified experience out of a reputable accounting practice.

• Strong exposure to financial reporting, consolidations, or technical accounting.

• Solid understanding of IFRS / UK GAAP and statutory accounting requirements.

• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and modelling.

• Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical capability.

• Ability to manage deadlines and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
