About The Role...

Are you a motivated Part Qualified Tax Associate or Tax Assistant looking to grow within corporate tax? Want to join a firm that is evolving with the times and can propel your growth?

Our Business Tax team is growing, and we’re currently seeking a Tax Associate to join them on their journey. This role is available to be worked from our newly refurbished Thames Valley hub located in central Reading.

About The Day To Day…

As a Part Qualified Tax Associate, you'll gain hands-on experience working with a diverse portfolio of clients, providing them with tailored tax solutions.

This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in a supportive and vibrant environment . You’ll get stuck into a diverse range of tasks and responsibilities, including;

• Looking after a portfolio of clients ranging from big businesses, PE backed and OMBs
• The preparation of corporate tax computations, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation
• Supporting with tax disclosures for statutory accounts
• Actively managing both client and internal deadlines
• Collaborating with senior team members to develop and implement tax strategies
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, delivering exceptional service
• Staying informed about changes in tax regulations and industry best practices
• Participating in team meetings and contributing to the development of tax-related projects
  
  

The role will also be designed to help you grow and develop through your career journey. With ac cess to a wide range of knowledge to help push yourself further - from Managers to Partners, the team are always happy to support you.

In addition, as a Tax Associate you will be/have;

• Part qualified in a relevant qualification (e.g., ATT, ACA)
• Experience in a tax or accounting role, ideally within an accountancy practice
• Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• A proactive mindset and a genuine interest in tax
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and manage multiple tasks
