What the job involves:

• You will be responsible for designated teams of assembly fitters encouraging team spirit, supervising and working to workshop schedules and production targets.
• Main duties include management of the production process through the assembly areas.
• Ensure timely production of assemblies and achieve output levels in line with the master schedule.
• Set daily/weekly targets in all work areas after weekly meetings with the Production Control Department.
• Maintain disciplines in procedures, health & safety, good housekeeping and general conduct.
  
  

Desirable Attributes:

• Technical understanding of Hydraulic, Pneumatics and Electrical systems.
• A knowledge of lean principles.
