Christmas Event Performer / Actor / Entertainer – Immediate Start (LaplandUK)

LaplandUK is bringing its award-winning immersive Christmas experience to Macclesfield and we’re hiring performers, actors, entertainers, and confident guest-facing people to join our Toy Factory and performance teams.

This world-class event is known for its Hollywood-level sets, West End calibre performances, and unforgettable Christmas storytelling, welcoming thousands of families every season.

Location: Macclesfield – Capesthorne Hall

Pay: £13.25 per hour

Contract: Seasonal (Immediate start – Christmas event period)

About the Event

LaplandUK is a fully immersive, story-driven Christmas world where families journey through the Elven universe, meeting characters, building toys, visiting the Elven Village, and experiencing interactive scenes brought to life by our performer teams.

You’ll be part of one of the most beloved Christmas attractions in the UK, helping deliver an unforgettable experience built around imagination, storytelling, and wonder.

The Role

As a Christmas Event Performer, you will:

• Welcome families and interact with children in character
• Use improvisation to bring your Elf role to life inside the Toy Factory
• Support the guest journey between scripted scenes
• Help maintain atmosphere, energy, and world-building
• Assist with crowd flow and guest movement
• Work closely with Front of House and Performance teams to keep the experience seamless

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in acting, performing, immersive theatre, entertainment, or guest-facing roles
• Confident improviser who enjoys engaging with families
• Warm, friendly, and great with children
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-footfall environment
• Positive, reliable, and a strong team player
• Must be available for an immediate start
