MacGregor Black is proud to partner with a privately owned accountancy firm to recruit an Accountant for a permanent position based near Leeds, with the option to work remotely up to three days per week.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic firm where you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality financial services to a diverse client base.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing Annual Accounts and Corporation Tax Returns
• Completing Self-Assessment Tax Returns
• Managing Bookkeeping and overseeing payroll functions
• Assisting with Company Start-Ups and advising on financial processes
• Producing Management Accounts and supporting business forecasting

What We’re Looking For:

• A qualified Accountant with a minimum of 3 years' post-qualification experience
• Strong knowledge of statutory accounts preparation and financial compliance
• Proficiency in accountancy software such as Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage
• Excellent communication skills to build strong client relationships
• A proactive, detail-oriented individual with a problem-solving mindset
