Rutherford is currently mandated to identify strong Capital Markets Associates (NQ–3 PQE) for an elite global law firm with one of the most highly regarded capital markets practices in the world.

About the Role

You will join a high-performing Capital Markets Group advising on a full suite of securities transactions, including:

• Equity Capital Markets (ECM)
• English law DCM
• US High Yield offerings
• Cross-border securities offerings and listings

The team’s track record spans transactions on the LSE, NYSE, Nasdaq, and Euronext Amsterdam, as well as headline public M&A deals.

You’ll work closely with clients across EMEA, including corporates, financial institutions, governments, and investment banks, supporting them on regulatory, disclosure, and governance matters.

Candidate Profile

We are seeking:

• A qualified solicitor (NQ–3 PQE) with UK capital markets experience
• A focus on Equity Capital Markets, plus experience in either UK public M&A or UK DCM
• Strong academic credentials
• Excellent drafting, attention to detail, and the ability to take initiative
• Experience in a leading City or international firm (or similar high-calibre environment)

Candidates with slightly more or less experience will be considered.
