Joint Venture Accountant

London

Salary - £80,000 - £85,000 + Bonus and Benefits

Investigo are proud to be working with an established but fast growing Oil and Gas organisation that are looking for a Joint Venture Accountant to supporting the Financial Controller in this newly created and important role. This position is integral to ensuring the accuracy of the JV transactions in this constantly growing partnership.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation of JV journals accruals and adjustments for the general ledger
• Support management reporting and billing schedules for the JVs
• Provide supporting documentation for the JV partners for audit in line with agreements
• Ensure policies and standards are upheld in line with regulatory requirements
• Assist the Financial Controller in maintaining and improving the strong financial control environment

Key Requirements

• Working knowledge within the Oil and Gas industry ideally with knowledge in JV reporting
• Knowledge of using SUN accounting software is essential to this role
• Hands on knowledge in month end close
• Proactive attitude and ability to problem solve in a fast moving growing environment
