About The Role
The Partner Recruiting Assistant is an integral part of Latham’s Partner Recruiting & Integration department . This role will be responsible for providing administrative assistance in support of lateral partner and counsel hiring activity, as directed by their supervisor and other department leadership. This role will be located in our London office. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
Other key responsibilities include:
- Preparing initial drafts of correspondence for lateral partner and counsel candidates
- Booking conference rooms and organising video links for interviews
- Liaising with candidates directly and/or with headhunters, along with partners and colleagues in and outside of the department
- Maintaining candidate databases and trackers, keeping data up to date and accurate while also spotting and correcting any errors
- Researching new technology and leveraging all available technology solutions to increase efficiency
- Producing and maintaining agency terms and logging candidate introductions
- Scheduling meetings and interviews, processing candidate reimbursements, and coordinating travel arrangements
- Demonstrate exceptional organisational skills
- Display excellent attention to detail and exceptional judgement
- Possess excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Ability to maintain professionalism at all times and handle confidential and sensitive information
- A high school diploma or an equivalent
- A Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent, preferably
- Administrative or professional office experience
