About The Role...

We are recruiting for a Accounts Payable Clerk to join our Finance team based in our Customer Support Centre in Walsall.

After a probationary period, the role offers flexibility to work from home one day per week.

As Accounts Payable Clerk, you will play a key role in ensuring the timely processing of invoices, that queries and issues are resolved and that statements of reconsolidation are completed accurately.

Your Impact And Responsibilities…

Key responsibilities will include:

• Reconciling invoices to booking in sheets, liaising with internal stakeholders to resolve price discrepancies.
• Resolving supplier queries and invoices.
• Issuing debit notes where required and following them through to resolution.
• Monthly reconciliation of supplier statements.
• Ensure that any correspondence relating to overdue accounts is actioned and resolved.
  
  

Skills And Knowledge…

We are looking for someone with:

• A minimum of 12 months in an accounts payable role from within a fast-paced environment.
• Experience of using a finance system. A working knowledge of Oracle is highly desirable.
• A detailed understanding of Accounts Payable processes and controls.
• Strong experience of Excel.
