Principal Commercial Officer

An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a Principal Commercial Officer to join a leading organisation in the defence sector. This permanent role offers the chance to lead business winning and contract delivery for high-value projects that directly support the UK Armed Forces.

You will be a key player in the full contract lifecycle, managing complex agreements and building vital relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. We are seeking a professional with a strong background in defence or government, possessing advanced negotiation skills and a deep understanding of contract law and risk management.

Required Skills and Experience

• Experience in UK Defence or Government sector
• Managing high-value defence contracts
• Advanced negotiation and stakeholder management
• Knowledge of contract law and risk mitigation

Location: Stevenage (hybrid working) Salary: Circa £50,000 depending on experience

Due to the nature of work at our client’s site, these vacancies are only open to British Citizens or Dual UK nationals with British citizenship, and require successful candidates to undergo a Basic Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) check and be eligible for SC clearance.

This is a permanent role.
