Our agency partner is looking for an accomplished Digital Project Lead to join their team. If you love taking the reins on complex digital projects, guiding multi-disciplinary teams, and building brilliant client relationships, this could be your next move.

With 8+ years’ agency experience, you’ll bring deep expertise in web development, delivery leadership, and digital strategy—along with the confidence to lead projects that matter.

About the agency

This agency is a high-growth business with a unique model. Their core team is intentionally lean, supported by a scalable network of the very best freelance talent—giving the agility of a boutique agency with the firepower of a 35–100+ person team.

They put flexibility, wellbeing and personal growth at the heart of everything they do. There’s no ego and no old-school agency chaos—just a collaborative, relaxed, open culture where everyone gets stuck in and celebrates wins together.

They work across a diverse range of sectors, helping clients shape strategies across both digital and physical experiences.

✨ What you’ll be doing

  • Leading end-to-end delivery of large, complex digital and web development projects—from brief to launch.
  • Acting as a senior partner to clients: shaping scopes, supporting pitches, and deepening long-term relationships.
  • Working closely with agency leadership to onboard new projects and support growth across the business.
  • Guiding and motivating Digital Client Managers and freelance specialists.
  • Owning project commercials—budgeting, forecasting, and ensuring strong profitability across accounts.
  • Reporting on performance, KPIs and learnings, and identifying opportunities to optimise.

What you’ll bring

  • Expert project management skills across a range of platforms, technologies, and delivery approaches.
  • Confident leadership—able to inspire internal teams and external partners while managing multiple projects at pace.
  • Strong technical grounding: understanding development workflows and CMS platforms (WordPress, Umbraco), and communicating technical detail simply.
  • Senior-level client management skills, with the ability to build trusted, strategic relationships.
  • Solid UX and design knowledge, enabling effective collaboration with design teams.
  • Analytic ability with hands-on experience using GA, GTM, and performance measurement tools.
  • Fluency with digital tools including Trello, Jira, Confluence, Figma and Adobe XD.
  • Calm, constructive problem-solving—especially under pressure.
  • Strong commercial awareness around forecasting, budgeting and profitability.

Ready to Lead with Impact?

If you’re a senior digital project manager adept at keeping things on budget, on time and to the highest standard, we’d love to hear from you.
