CRO Specialist in Manchester Area

Leadly is looking for an CRO Specialist in Manchester Area

Job description

CRO Specialist

Hybrid (Manchester, 2 days per week) | £60,000-£65,000

Who We Are

At Leadly, we’re not here to be average, we’re here to win… together. We move fast, back each other and show up with the kind of energy that comes from people who genuinely care about doing great work. No egos, no corporate nonsense, no clock-watchers. Just a team of sharp, gritty, ambitious humans who want to build something special.

What We Value (the stuff CVs can’t really show):

We take the Sir Alex approach - talent gets you in the door, but character decides how far you go here.

  • Resilience: Things move quickly here, and not every day is a 10/10. We want people who can take feedback, bounce back, and keep driving.
  • Work Ethic: Not “work more hours” - but show up with pride in your craft. Bring your best. Own your outcomes.
  • Hunger: You don’t need someone to light a fire under you. You’ve already got one.
  • Discipline: Do what you say you’ll do. Keep standards high. Be someone the team can rely on.
  • Loyalty + Team First: We grow people. We back each other. We win as a team and lose as a team.
  • Instinct & Vision: We hire people who “get it.” People who can see around corners, spot opportunities and push us further.
  • Humility: No big-heads, no divas. Success at Leadly is always a group effort.

What You Can Expect Here

You’ll join a team that genuinely cares, works hard, and has a laugh while doing it. We’re building big things - our own brands, our clients’ brands and a culture people actually want to be part of. You’ll have ownership, trust, support and the freedom to do the best work of your career (and grow faster than you thought you could).

What You’ll Do

  • Own the CRO roadmap: Build and manage a rolling A/B and multivariate testing strategy across landing pages and websites.
  • Experimentation & Personalisation:
  • Launch iterative tests from layout tweaks to complex dynamic personalisation.
  • Use behavioural targeting and segmentation to tailor content to users.
  • Improve User Experience: Analyse every touchpoint in the journey — discovery, browsing, lead forms, and conversion funnels — to reduce friction and boost engagement.
  • Deliver Commercial Impact: Partner with marketing teams to test offers, propositions, and creative that drive measurable commercial outcomes.
  • Insight & Reporting: Translate complex data into actionable insights — delivering clear, visual reports that guide decision-making across teams.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience: 3–6 years in CRO, digital optimisation, or growth-focused UX.

Tools & Tech:

  • Hands-on experience with GA4, GTM, and A/B testing platforms (AB Tasty, VWO, or Optimizely).
  • Experience using landing page building tools such as Unbounce, Instapage, QuickPages, or similar.
  • Confident editing and reading HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Data-Driven Mindset: Ability to diagnose conversion challenges and identify testing opportunities through analytics, heatmaps, and user research.
  • Collaboration: Experience working closely with designers, developers, and marketing teams.

Bonus Points For:

  • Google Analytics certification.
  • Experience in performance marketing or lead generation environments.
  • Familiarity with GDPR-compliant data tracking setups.

If This Sounds Like You…

And if you read all that and thought “yep, that’s me,” then we’d love to speak to you. Hit apply. Bring your ambition. We’ll bring the opportunity.
