Capital Reporting Accountant – Leading UK Challenger Bank (London)

A UK challenger bank is seeking a Capital Reporting Accountant to take ownership of its end-to-end capital reporting processes and play a key role in strengthening and modernising its regulatory reporting capability.

The Role

In this position, you will be responsible for managing and delivering the full suite of capital reporting activities, including:

• Ownership of Capital Reporting (Own Funds, Large Exposures and Leverage)
• Supporting system upgrades and contributing to automation and process-improvement initiatives
• Leading on data quality remediation and governance enhancements
• Completing ad-hoc regulatory tasks such as QIS analysis and impact assessments
• Acting as a key contributor within a collaborative, technically strong regulatory reporting function

About You

The ideal candidate will bring:

• A recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Regulatory reporting experience, ideally focused on capital
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and a proactive, inquisitive mindset
• An interest in improving processes, controls and automation
• The ability to communicate clearly and work effectively with stakeholders across the business
