Job description

This opportunity is ideal for experienced videographers and sound technicians interested in contributing to a dynamic studio environment focused on talk shows, podcasts, and live audience recordings. The project is short-term, spanning one to two days, and is currently in the early planning and research phase. Professionals will collaborate remotely with a Pretoria-based, fully soundproof production studio, supporting the technical and creative aspects of high-quality media content.

Deliverables

  • Set up and operate video and audio recording equipment for studio-based productions.
  • Capture high-quality footage and sound for talk shows, podcasts, and panel discussions.
  • Collaborate with presenters and journalists to ensure seamless production flow.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues during live or recorded sessions.
  • Provide post-production support as needed, including basic editing and file delivery.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a videographer or sound technician in a studio or live production setting.
  • Proficiency with professional video cameras, microphones, and audio mixing equipment.
  • Strong understanding of lighting, soundproofing, and acoustics for studio environments.
  • Ability to work remotely and coordinate with a distributed team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Availability for a short-term engagement (1–2 days).
  • Familiarity with talk show, podcast, or live event production is highly desirable.
