Group Accountant |Acquisitive Investment Manager| £80,000 - £95,000 | 12 month FTC to Perm | Central London | 50% office Based | Able to start before Christmas

About the Role

As Group Accountant, you will be responsible for the timely and accurate production of financial reporting packs across core entities and their consolidation into Group results. You will play a key role in driving improvements in reporting processes and maintaining a robust control environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the month-end close process across 50+ entities.
• Oversee financial accounting for subsidiaries and holding companies.
• Review and sign off balance sheet reconciliations.
• Complete group consolidations under IFRS and FRS 101.
• Work closely with FP&A and produce the consolidated P&L reporting packs
• Manage intercompany transactions and transfer pricing compliance.
• Support corporate audits and prepare financial statements.
• Assist with implementing new accounting standards and finance projects.

What We’re Looking For

• Professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CA or equivalent).
• 5 years post-qualification experience in a multi-entity environment.
• Strong knowledge of group consolidations, intercompany reconciliations, and month-end processes.
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with SunSystems and Q&A is advantageous.
• Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure.
