Job description
A job that matters: Your TasksOur Trade Counter Sales Assitants work torwards providing the best customer experience for our clients, whilst also growing thier knowledge about the large range of products we offer. This is to ensure that the customer gets what they want every time. As a Sales Assistant based in our Walthamstow office, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, whether this be over the phone, face to face or via email.
Responsiblities will include the processing sales orders, ensuring that the details are accurate so that the customer gets what they need every time. You will p rovide customers with quotations as well as offering technical advice to customers about different products we stock. So you need to be happy to learn and develop knowledge about the mechanical products we supply. Lastly you will p rocess payments and o rganising returns or exchanges for the customer as well as c ontacting suppliers to chase orders, prices and product availability.
As part of this close knit team there will also be a requirement to s upport the warehouse during busy/holiday periods, so we need somone who is a real team player, who will always be happy to help whether it be internal or external customers.
Hours of work - 07:30-16:30 Mon-Thurs / 07:30-15:00 Friday
An experience that matters: Your Skills
- 1-2 years of business to business sales or sales admin experience at any level.
- Computer literate
- Confident manner with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Maths, English to GCSE lvl 4
