About The Job

We’re looking for a proactive and experienced HR Advisor to join our team on a 12-month fixed term basis. You’ll play a key role in supporting a region of our stores, Head Office, Distribution Centre and Printcraft with all Employee Relations (ER) matters. This role is known internally as a People Advisor.

This position is a hybrid role with 2 days per week in our Wakefield office, as well as occasional visits to our Printcraft facility in Bradford when required .

You’ll provide expert advice on ER activities such as investigations, grievances and performance. You’ll manage a busy caseload so previous experience from within a similar role is essential. You’ll also support organisational changes and help identify trends to develop practical solutions that improve colleague experience and strengthen our culture.

You’ll also lead and support HR projects, keep systems and policies up to date and deliver engaging ER upskill sessions for our leadership team - all while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection.

What we’re looking for

  • Previous experience as HR/People Advisor handling multiple ER caseloads
  • Strong knowledge of Employment Law and ACAS guidelines
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Confidence to influence and build relationships across the business
