Part Time Bookkeeper Accountancy Practice | Sheffield, UK

Are you a detail-oriented and experienced bookkeeper looking for a great role within this well-respected firm of chartered accountants? My client is a leading accountancy practice who is looking for someone to join their business services team handling a portfolio of clients. The role would be working three days a week .

Key Responsibilities:

Working in the business services team you will handle a portfolio of clients and be responsible for all aspects of bookkeeping on their behalf. .

•Preparation of VAT returns on behalf of clients

•Liaise with clients to obtain necessary documentation and resolve queries.

•Support the team in preparing management accounts where required.

•Ensure deadlines for VAT submissions are met and clients are kept informed.

•Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of VAT rules and changes in legislation.

What We’re Looking For:

•Proven bookkeeping experience, ideally within an accountancy practice, although applications are welcomed from individuals working in industry

•Strong knowledge of VAT regulations and MTD requirements.

•Proficient in accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, or similar.

•Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.

•Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
