Palantir Technical Lead (SFIA Level 5)

Location: London / Hybrid

Salary: £90,000 – £100,000 + Bonus & Benefits

The Opportunity:

We’re seeking a Palantir Tech Lead to define how organisations harness Palantir Foundry, enabling powerful analytics, AI/ML integration, and mission‑critical applications. You’ll be the senior authority guiding ontology development, practice leadership, and strategic delivery across high‑consequence projects in defence and security.

While this role is primarily hybrid, you may occasionally be required to attend the client site in Portsmouth. This could be anywhere from once a week, up to three times, or sometimes not at all but it’s important to know that flexibility for client visits is part of the role.

Your Role

• Architect and govern ontologies in Palantir Foundry that unify complex data into actionable intelligence.
• Lead and grow a practice mentoring engineers, shaping delivery patterns, and championing innovation.
• Balance technical depth with strategic leadership, aligning solutions with enterprise data strategy.
• Engage stakeholders, translate technical abstractions into operational insights, and drive adoption of secure‑by‑design principles.

What They are Looking For

• Non‑negotiable experience: Palantir Foundry, Symantec Modelling, Agile Leadership & Strategic Communication.
• Core technologies: Python, SQL, PySpark, and strong Data Engineering principles.
• Ideally, you’ve led a team or department with significant exposure to Palantir.
• Candidates with Graph Technologies (e.g., RDF), OWL, SPARQL) are also welcome, though Palantir expertise is preferred.
• Cloud & Integration. Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP, and data integration tooling such as Airflow, Kafka, or Elasticsearch.
