We are recruiting on behalf of a client, a rapidly growing clean-energy provider operating an international LNG supply and refuelling network across the UK and Europe. To support their continued expansion, they are looking to hire this position with immediate start.

About the Role

This is a dynamic and hands-on role at the core of the LNG fuel supply chain. You will coordinate HGV deliveries to fueling stations across the UK—and occasionally Germany, Belgium, and the Netherlands—while ensuring the entire fleet meets the highest safety and compliance standards.


  • Plan, control, and monitor all HGV deliveries
  • Optimise routes, manage legal driver hours, prioritise urgent loads
  • Work with international teams to ensure seamless scheduling
  • Maintain ongoing communication with transport companies, workshops, and suppliers
  • Act quickly to resolve delays, breakdowns, or maintenance issues
  • Fluent German is essential for communication and system use
  • Oversee regular and preventive maintenance, MOTs, and unplanned repairs
  • Ensure all vehicles meet safety and legal compliance requirements



Qualifications


  • Completed qualification in transport, logistics, fleet management (e.g., CPC), or extensive experience in HGV dispatching and fleet maintenance coordination


Professional Skills

  • Strong understanding of UK HGV logistics; European experience is a plus
  • Experience with hazardous goods transport, fleet maintenance, and compliance
  • Confident with dispatch systems, fleet software, and MS Office
  • Strong analytical skills to reduce downtime and improve efficiency

  • Excellent communicator and team player
  • Ability to handle unexpected issues (breakdowns, supply interruptions, weather impacts) quickly and decisively
  • Willingness to work shifts and weekends when required
