Join Our Team as a Shed Cleaner at Hornsey Depot!

We're looking for a Shed Cleaner to join our welcoming and hardworking team at Hornsey Depot. In this hands-on role, you'll play an important part in maintaining a safe, tidy, and efficient working environment for our engineering teams.

What You'll Be Doing?

As a Shed Cleaner, You Will

  • Keep the engineering workshop and depot areas clean, tidy, and well-maintained
  • Carry out steam cleaning of pit roads to a high standard
  • Work safely at all times, ensuring the wellbeing of yourself and those around you
  • Take a proactive, flexible approach and work confidently on your own initiative
  • Report any accidents or near misses promptly
  • Complete all required GTR compliance training
  • Support the wider team by completing tasks assigned by Team Leaders or the Production Manager

What We're Looking For?

To Thrive In This Role, You'll Bring

  • A solid understanding of Health, Safety and Environmental legislation
  • Awareness of rail industry safety obligations and relevant Railway Group Standards
  • Strong self-motivation and the ability to respond well to a variety of tasks
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Effective IT skills
