Overview

We are looking for a creative and versatile Motions Graphics / Communications Designer who can produce compelling narratives and collateral that elevate our work. This role blends creativity and design expertise to deliver impactful communication materials across different formats.

Key Responsibilities

· Create compelling materials with cohesive visual direction, taking on board the brand, customer’s brand and context and objectives for a given piece of content

· Translate complex ideas and strategic goals into effective storytelling, with input from stakeholders and other team members

· Conceptualise, design and execute materials, such as PowerPoint presentations, diagrams or infographics

· Conceptualise, design and execute motion graphics and videos, including collaborating with 3D artists

· Where necessary, curate, compile or edit existing materials (e.g. Interface designs, stock photography, stock video) to be visually cohesive within a given piece of content

· Plan and manage all aspects of execution, including collaboration with other team members, reviews and sign offs

· Ensure visual consistency and high quality standards across all deliverables

Requirements

Proven experience in visual design, motion graphics design and video production

Excellent communication and visual storytelling skills, ability to translate complex ideas into engaging visual content

Strong understanding of typography, layout, colour theory, composition, rhythm (for motion work), evidenced through their portfolio

Ability to drive projects end-to-end, including managing timelines, expectations, feedback and iterations with cross-functional stakeholders

Knowledge of colour grading and ability to create a cohesive look and feel across different content and formats

Understanding of video production workflows, including video capture/sourcing, rendering and editing

Knowledge of sound design and audio mixing

Proficiency in:

o Adobe Creative Cloud, specifically

§ After Effects for motion design

§ Premier for editing video content and grading

§ Photoshop for colour retouches of 3D work supplied by our artists

o PowerPoint

o Figma

Desirables:

Ability to execute high level UI mock-ups or elements using an established design system

Understanding of technologies, ideally in the enterprise space, and experience creating content for this industry
