A leading real estate investment manager is looking to hire a Fund Controller / Transactions Manager to join their Fund Finance team. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of financial and investor reporting, oversee fund structures, and play a key role in transactions and client engagement within a dynamic and growing business.


The Role


  • Oversee all management and statutory financial reporting across funds and mandates, managing third-party service providers and ensuring timely, accurate outputs.
  • Lead on investor reporting, reviewing NAV calculations, consolidation adjustments, and drafting clear financial commentary for stakeholders.
  • Coordinate and manage annual audits, resolving queries and ensuring compliance with IFRS and local GAAP.
  • Provide transaction support, including financial due diligence, structuring, and funds flow.
  • Act as a key contact for investors, responding to queries, preparing distributions and drawdowns, and presenting at meetings.
  • Manage cash flow, debt, and banking relationships, including covenant monitoring and reporting.
  • Oversee tax structuring and compliance, ensuring timely filing across relevant jurisdictions.
  • Ensure robust corporate governance, including board/shareholder meetings and statutory requirements.
  • Contribute to financial modelling and challenge assumptions to support investment decisions.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to drive efficiency and accuracy.


Candidate Profile


  • A qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CA or equivalent)
  • Strong post-qualification experience, ideally in real estate, private equity, or fund management.
  • Excellent knowledge of IFRS (and local GAAP where relevant), with exposure to tax requirements.
  • Demonstrable experience in financial reporting, audits, and investor communications.
  • Strong Excel and financial modelling skills.
  • Proven ability to manage third-party providers and build relationships with auditors, investors, and lenders.
  • Experience of property acquisitions, disposals, or financing is highly advantageous.
  • Strong project management, organisation, and communication skills.
  • A proactive, hands-on approach and the ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment.
