Job description
The RoleThis role forms part of the School Teaching, Learning and Student Experience team in the School of Education, Environment & Development and will assist the Student Support and Wellbeing team to deliver excellent service provision placing the student experience at the heart of what we do with support for a single Professional Services (PS) team working flexibly across organisational boundaries. This role is initially on a 8-month FTC, with a potential for extension.
The ideal candidate will be able to manage and lead a complex caseload of students in need of wellbeing and student support. The post holder will be responsible for leading the Student Support & Wellbeing team’s case management meetings, advising others or leading on support to study cases as well as the coordination of our disabled student provision. The ideal candidate will be able to manage their time well, work independently whilst also managing several stakeholders and student enquiries. The successful candidate will have an analytical, questioning mindset and the skills, experience, and knowledge to deliver continuous improvement. They should, always, ensure they are operating within University, Faculty and School policies, guidance, and regulations.
As well as working within SEED TLSE, the role will require inter-departmental working with academic and professional services colleagues across the faculty and wider University, delivering a high quality, student focused service and promoting a single team culture.
