The Role
This is a 12-month fixed-term role, ideal for someone passionate about helping others launch fulfilling careers in tech. At Makers, our learners follow different career journeys, and the Placement team plays a critical role in supporting them through the final and most important stage, launching into a job they love.
As a Placement Coach, your goal is to support learners to successfully complete their placements, demonstrate their skills in a real-world environment, and secure long-term employment, either by completing an apprenticeship or by converting to a permanent role with a hiring partner.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Guide learners from placement through to timely achievement of their apprenticeship, setting clear objectives, conducting regular progress reviews, and collaborating with colleagues and hiring partners to optimise outcomes.
