Our facilities include four broadcast studios, fifty edit suites and a multitude of radio, podcast, dubbing and VFX facilities, with specialisms in remote production and carbon reduction thanks to our Green to Screen initiative. Whether it's live coverage, archive, highlights, social media, branded content or feature films, we give the audience a front row seat to the best sport in the world.
IMG are hiring an Operations Delivery Supervisor on an initial 2-year fixed-term contract to be accountable for the day-to-day delivery of a major IMG Studio Tech & Ops client’s project and the delivery of large-scale client projects at IMG Studios. This role is pivotal to our clients’ – and our - overall success.
Key Responsibilities And Accountabilities
Lead Daily Operational Delivery
- Oversee day-to-day operations for the client, ensuring all productions and workflows run smoothly and issues are quickly resolved.
- Act as the main operational point of contact, maintaining strong client relationships and clear communication.
- Work with Commercial, Technical, Engineering, and Bookings teams to plan, resource, and deliver client requirements on time and on budget.
- Attend key bookings and production days to provide hands-on support and ensure alignment between teams
- Lead operational planning for major client projects, including timelines, documentation, resource needs, and tracking progress.
- Identify operational risks or pinch points early and implement solutions to maintain high service levels.
- Ensure all operational information, project details, and resource allocations are accurately maintained in company systems.
- Capture and communicate actions, scope changes, and performance updates across stakeholders.
- Track operational and project costs, reporting variances or risks to the Account Managers and Senior Manager, Operations Delivery, and reconciling against agreed timelines.
- The standard working hours will be 13:00–21:00 GMT to align with the client’s team. Overall flexibility to work varying hours will also be required.
- Seasonal peak period: Availability is required over the Christmas holiday period, when the client undertakes critical testing phases.
- International travel: Occasional travel may be required to support planning, testing, and delivery activities.
- Event-based schedule: Weekend and out-of-hours work will be necessary, aligned with the client’s operational demands (e.g., relevant event calendars).
- High-pressure operational environment: The role involves supporting live, high-profile production workflows where rapid decision-making and problem-solving may be required.
- Reliable operational delivery of all client work—on schedule, on budget, and to required quality.
- Strong client partnership, ensuring clear communication, trust, and excellent service.
- Effective cross-team coordination, ensuring all departments are aligned and accountable.
- Accurate operational planning, documentation, and resource management.
- Proactive problem-solving, ensuring issues are escalated and resolved promptly.
- Cost awareness and responsible reporting, budget management.
- Strong working knowledge of post-production, broadcast studio, live gallery and remote production operations
- Excellent understanding of sports-based production requirements, both live and non-live
- Experience delivering for high end clients
- Proven client and customer service skills
- Solid organisation and communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Excellent interpersonal skills (when to employ tact, diplomacy, discretion)
- Proven ability to use own initiative and ability to work well as part of a team as well as autonomously
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Previous experience of working to tight deadlines, working effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management - reliable and punctual
- Positive, professional and keen approach to work
- Intuitive to the needs of clients and other team members
- This is a 2-year fixed term contract
- This role is based at our facility in Stockley Park, Uxbridge.
