Strategic Sourcing & P2P Lead | Renewable Energy Organisation

Location: London

Salary: up to £58,000 + benefits

We're working with a global leader in the energy and services space who is growing their UK procurement team and they’re looking for a Sourcing & P2P Lead to join the team.

You’ll join a collaborative, international procurement environment where no two days are the same, expect plenty of variety, ownership, and the chance to make a real impact.

What you’ll be doing:

Strategic Sourcing (around 40%)

• Lead sourcing across a variety of indirect categories from IT and consultancy to PPE, MRO, and training
• Negotiate supplier agreements that deliver real value
• Support category strategy, process improvements, and digital tools rollout (e.g. Ariba)
• Help embed responsible sourcing and ESG compliance in everything you do

P2P Operations (around 50%)

• Manage day-to-day procurement activities raising POs, onboarding suppliers, tracking delivery
• Handle procurement requests, ensure compliance, and resolve any supplier or invoice queries
• Work closely with the wider business to make sure the P2P process runs smoothly

Procurement Support (around 10%)

• Keep procurement data, systems and workflows up to date
• Manage procurement inboxes and respond to internal stakeholder queries
• Assist with onboarding and training team members and business users

✅ What we’re looking for:

• Experience:
• 3–5 years in procurement or strategic sourcing, ideally with exposure to indirect categories
• Solid hands-on experience across the full P2P lifecycle
• Comfortable using ERP systems (SAP or Ariba experience is a bonus)
• Familiar with contract types (e.g. Consultancy, licensing, term call-offs)
• Skills:
• Strong Excel and SharePoint skills; Power BI or Power Automate is a nice plus
• Good eye for process improvement and data accuracy
• Great communicator – someone who’s comfortable working across departments and managing supplier relationships
• Organised, proactive, and not afraid to roll your sleeves up
• Qualifications:
• Degree or equivalent experience in procurement, supply chain, or finance
• Open to (or already working toward) CIPS accreditation
