Commercial Operations Specialist – Global (Biotech / Life Sciences)

Full-time · Hybrid – Oxfordshire


A leading biotech/life sciences innovator is looking for a Commercial Operations Specialist to help elevate and streamline its global customer journey—from order capture to fulfilment, support, and renewals.


This is a high-impact role for someone who loves fixing broken processes, shaping scalable systems, and partnering across regions to deliver a seamless customer experience. You’ll be at the centre of global commercial operations, driving CRM/ERP improvements and aligning teams across Sales, Customer Care, Technical Services, Operations, and Finance.



What You’ll Do

  • Optimise end-to-end commercial workflows across Salesforce and ERP systems (Oracle/SAP/NetSuite).
  • Identify bottlenecks, improve data quality, and deliver automation that scales globally.
  • Translate business challenges into system requirements and partner with IT to implement them.
  • Support global governance, enable accurate forecasting, and champion process consistency.
  • Lead change management and drive adoption of new tools and processes across regions.


What You Bring

  • Strong Salesforce expertise across Sales Cloud and/or Service Cloud, with the capability to act as a Product/Project Owner for commercial system enhancements.
  • Salesforce Administrator or Business Analyst certification (preferred), or equivalent hands-on experience configuring, optimising, and translating business needs into scalable Salesforce solutions.
  • 5+ years in Commercial Operations, Business Ops, or Process Excellence (ideally in biotech, life sciences, or advanced technology).
  • ERP familiarity (Oracle/SAP/NetSuite) is a plus.
  • Proven experience driving cross-functional improvements in a matrixed, global environment.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills—you influence without authority.
  • Analytical, organised, and proactive with a passion for operational excellence.
