Position: STEM Expert

Referral Partner: Crossing Hurdles

Type: Hourly Contract

Compensation: $50–$60/hour (based on experience)

Location: Remote

Duration: 1 month (subject to change)

Commitment: 10–40 hours/week

Role Responsibilities (Training support will be provided):

• Design and Optimize STEM-Based Prompts: Create detailed, scientifically rigorous prompts with multiple constraints and instructions in biology.
• Define and Document Evaluation Standards: Develop high-level expectations for correct responses in STEM contexts and create comprehensive rubrics for assessment.
• Conduct Model Testing and Grading: Run STEM prompts through AI models, assess preliminary outputs against established standards for accuracy and instructional quality.
• Support Benchmarking and Quality Assurance: Collaborate in QA review processes to ensure that tasks and rubrics meet scientific rigor and maintain consistency before integration into official benchmarks.

Requirements:

• BS or BA in Biology
• Familiarity with undergraduate-level topics in Biology.
• Strong writing and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
