PAYOUT SPECIALIST – ASSET FINANCE

(contracting role - outside IR35)


Map Room is currently assisting a leading financial services organisation to identify an experienced Payout Specialist to join its Asset Finance Operations team on a contract basis.


In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and enforceability of contracts across all documentation before payout. This is a critical position that contributes to delivering a seamless experience for brokers and customers.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Review Asset Finance documentation before payout, ensuring that all credit conditions are fully met.
  • Assess contracts for enforceability, accuracy, and alignment with approved deal terms.
  • Conduct thorough quality checks on broker submissions, identifying any gaps or inconsistencies.
  • Validate data across contracts, financial schedules, and internal systems.
  • Confirm the accuracy of financial figures, payment schedules, and rental profiles.
  • Communicate with brokers, primarily via email, to resolve documentation queries and gather any missing information.
  • Maintain clear audit trails and ensure full compliance with internal and regulatory standards.
  • Manage workload effectively in a high-volume, time-sensitive environment.
  • Identify recurring issues or risks to support ongoing process improvement.


Skills & Experience:

  • - Proven experience in Asset Finance operations, payouts, settlements, or credit processing.
  • - Strong understanding of leases, hire purchase (HP), and structured Asset Finance products.
  • - Solid knowledge of documentation standards and contract enforceability requirements.
  • - High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and numerical confidence.
  • - Professional communication skills, especially when interacting with brokers.
  • - Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced operational environment.
