With around 200 people in the firm's City of London office, it’s large enough to feel established but still small enough for you to build strong relationships and be recognised for your work.

Globally, the firm is big, but in London you’ll be part of a small, supportive team. You’ll report to the Director of Finance, who is also based in the same office.

What the role involves

You’ll lead and support a finance team of three, ensuring billing, payments, and financial records are accurate. You’ll manage VAT returns and make sure the firm follows local tax rules, working with external advisers when needed. You’ll prepare for audits, produce financial reports, monitor cash flow and bank accounts, act as the main contact for auditors, banks, and tax authorities, and support annual budgets and monthly reporting.

What we’re looking for

Experience leading or supervising a finance team, ideally within a law firm or professional services. Strong knowledge of VAT, EMEA tax rules, and multi-currency accounting is important.
