Directories & Recognitions Manager – 6-Month FTC

US Law Firm – Central London (near St Paul’s)

Up to £80,000 | Start ASAP

A leading US law firm based close to St Paul’s is seeking an experienced Directories & Recognitions Manager to join their London office on a 6-month fixed-term contract, starting as soon as possible.

Reporting into the Senior Manager, Directories & Recognitions, this role is a key part of the firm’s global marketing and BD function. You will take ownership of the project management of the firm’s global directories and submissions process, ensuring high-quality, timely, and strategically aligned submissions across practice groups and regions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the global legal directories and award submission process, working closely with lawyers, BD teams, and senior stakeholders.
• Develop compelling firm, office, and lawyer profiles for inclusion in major directory guides.
• Manage timelines, gather matter information, draft and refine submissions, and ensure consistent, high-quality content.
• Track and maintain rankings, results, and recognitions data, ensuring internal databases remain current.
• Research new awards and rankings opportunities, making strategic recommendations.
• Prepare regular reporting on rankings outcomes and performance trends.
• Build strong internal relationships to ensure accurate and persuasive submissions.

About You

• Experience working within a law firm or professional services environment is strongly preferred.
• Strong editorial and project management skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Confident engaging with senior stakeholders and subject-matter experts.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines across global time zones.
• A proactive, organised, and collaborative approach.
