About You

We have a fantastic new opportunity for a Financial Controller to play a pivotal role in driving and delivering our strategy. This varied position is ideal for an experienced, qualified FC looking for a fast-paced, varied and challenging role.


You will need to have worked within a manufacturing environment to be considered for this role.

Four Anjels has recently joined the Olidor Group, a growing portfolio of companies within the food industry. The Olidor Group also includes Brusco Food Group, an industry expert in ingredients supply, Karimix, a specialist worldwide inspired sauce producer, and The Original Baker, a producer of premium artisan baked goods.


What You’ll Be Doing

  • Working closely with the Managing Director to shape and deliver Four Anjels Finance strategy.
  • Leading, developing and coaching a small, busy Finance team.
  • Cashflow forecasting, analysis and support for cash management.
  • Creation of monthly management accounts (profit and loss, gross margin analysis, balance sheet) and provision of insightful commentary and analysis.
  • Managing stock costings.
  • Leading forecasts and budgeting activities.
  • Overseeing monthly payroll.
  • Managing monthly VAT returns.
  • Preparing and posting monthly journals.
  • Reconciliations and analysing variances.
  • Acting as a commercial Finance business partner as part of the senior leadership team.


What You'll Bring

  • Relevant experience, with ideally 2 years as Finance lead.
  • Professional accounting qualification, ideally ACA, ACCA or CIMA.
  • Experience in managing a team, supporting, coaching and driving team performance.
  • Expertise in financial analysis, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
  • Relevant manufacturing sector experience including stock costing and reconciliations.
  • Accustomed to dealing with competing demands from various stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Excel and experience with accounting software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify trends, issues, and opportunities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with an inclusive and collaborative approach.
  • High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.

How We Work Together

  • Salary: Between £60,000 - £65,000 per annum (depending on experience and skills)
  • Working Arrangements: Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm. This is a hybrid position with the expectation to be on site 4 days per week with 1 day working from home
