Location: Tockington, Bristol

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30 - 17:30

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 DOE

Avon Tuning is a performance tuning and ECU remapping company based near North Bristol, in the Southwest of England. We operate within a wide range of industry sectors, such as automotive, agricultural and construction. Our modified engine and transmission software is created in house by a team of software engineers and distributed globally through a network of authorised agents.


As our company continues to grow, we are expanding our internal marketing team with a new Content Creator role. The ideal candidate will be passionate about producing engaging content across various formats, such as: video, photography, and graphic design. This role requires the ability to adapt content to reflect our brands tone of voice while bringing fresh, creative ideas to the team.


We are looking to hear from all individuals with varying levels of experience in the content creation space, whether you’re fresh out of college, or you’re looking to take your content creation hobby to a full-time career, or perhaps you’re an established creator looking to advance your career, we want to hear from you. 


We’re not just looking for someone who can do it all, if you excel in a specific content creating skill, but lack experience in another, we still want to hear from you. This role can be moulded to your strengths and provide training and support to further develop other skills. 


Key Responsibilities:

  • Helping to create video, photographic, and graphic design content for a range of industries that we operate within.
  • Support the marketing team with the generation of assets for use on social media, company website, and general marketing materials.
  • Plan, capture, and edit media both in-house and out on location.
  • Work with the marketing team to plan content strategies for the different business sectors.
  • Help produce high-quality graphic design work including brochures, leaflets, posters, stickers, merchandise and large scale event branding.
  • Generate fresh and original ideas for use across social media and our websites.
  • Ensure all content stays within the brand tone of voice across all platforms.
  • Attend external company events and exhibitions to capture content when required (this can include weekends and evenings).
  • Ad-hoc content creation work for other businesses within the company group.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required

  • Proven experience in content creation.
  • Proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere) or similar software packages.
  • Ability to use modern photography and video equipment (Mirrorless Systems).
  • Automotive or Heavy-Duty vehicle technical knowledge is advantageous.
  • Competent IT skills are a must.


Other requirements

  • Full clean UK driving license.
  • Available to travel and work away from the home/office, including occasional weekend work.

  • Schedule: Monday-Friday -8:30 – 17:30, weekend event work needed on occasion
