Our client EBRD has reopened this position and is looking for a strong Senior Java Developer with experience in OpenText Livelink implementation.

Java + Livelink is highly preferred, but candidates with strong Java experience and some exposure to Livelink APIs will also be considered.


Position Details

Role: Senior Java Developer (Java + OpenText Livelink)

Type: Fixed-Term Contract (FTC)

Duration: 6 Months

Location: London, UK

Work Mode: Hybrid (2–3 days/week onsite)

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer with strong expertise in enterprise-grade development and exposure to OpenText Livelink APIs. Livelink experience is not mandatory but will be a significant advantage, as this role involves working on Java applications that integrate with Livelink.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and enhance Java-based applications integrating with Livelink.
  • Work across the full software development lifecycle in a fast-paced environment.
  • Deliver enhancements, bug fixes, and feature implementations.
  • Design and articulate solutions using UML.
  • Fix issues identified during penetration testing.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and best engineering practices.


Required Skills & Experience

  • 15+ years of overall IT experience, with 10–12+ years in Java development.
  • Strong hands-on skills in:
  • Java 8/17, Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, JEE, MVC, Swing, JSP, Webservices (REST/SOAP), Angular/AngularJS, jQuery, JSON, HTML, CSS, XSLT
  • Expertise with:
  • Tomcat, JBoss EAP, Apache, SQL, Oracle, PL/SQL, XML, Maven, Ant, CI/CD (Azure Pipeline), Jira, Subversion
  • Experience generating reports in PDF, MS Word, Excel.
  • Knowledge of Oracle & MySQL databases.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC (Agile & Waterfall), change management, quality & risk management.
  • Experience with IntelliJ / Eclipse, and JavaScript MVC frameworks (Angular, AngularJS).
  • Exposure to OpenText Livelink APIsadded advantage.
  • Strong analytical, investigative, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
