Job description

Managing Partner, Performance – 9-Month FTC (Mat Cover)

Start: Mid–Late January | Hybrid: 3 days p/w London

Potential European travel

This is a rare senior leadership brief: take the reins on a flagship FMCG / skincare client and lead a centralised biddable hub spanning 40+ European markets. You’ll shape the performance agenda for one of the world’s most digitally ambitious brands and drive genuine transformation across programmatic, display and paid social.

Candidates will have programmatic and paid social experience leading in-platform specialist teams.

Stepping in as the senior client lead, you’ll set the strategic direction, bring cohesion to a complex multi-market operating model and champion innovation across Europe. It’s a role for someone who thrives on high-level stakeholder management and can articulate a clear, confident POV backed by deep performance experience.

  • Lead a European digital hub: Own the vision and delivery across 40 markets, ensuring consistency, efficiency and excellence in biddable activation.
  • Shape the strategy for a tier-1 global FMCG / skincare brand: Drive both long-term transformation and near-term performance outcomes, with a direct line of influence into senior client leadership.
  • Run a high-performing team at scale: Manage senior leaders, oversee a 30-strong onshore team plus a 20-person offshore unit, and foster a central performance culture that elevates output across the region.
  • Drive operational excellence and innovation: Oversee buying commitments, measurement frameworks, testing roadmaps and cross-channel best practice to raise the European digital bar.

What you’ll bring

  • Multi-market leadership experience within programmatic / display / paid social.
  • Gravitas and clarity in senior client conversations, comfortable influencing seasoned stakeholders.
  • A background in performance activation, paired with strategic fluency.
  • Experience “centralising” previously fragmented operating models (a strong advantage).
  • Confident people leadership across senior talent and near/offshore delivery models.

This FTC gives a genuine leadership seat in a globally connected agency environment, working alongside North America and global counterparts to push digital performance forward at scale. Ideal for someone who wants a senior, high-impact brief without a long-term commitment.
