Midweight Interior Designer
South West London (Office/Site Based, 5 Days per Week)
Salary: Up to £45,000

A dynamic and fast-growing interior design and architectural studio in South West London is seeking a Midweight Interior Designer to join their creative, supportive and energetic team.

The successful candidate will bring strong conceptual thinking, a refined design sensibility, and the ability to deliver distinctive interiors across both national and international projects. This role requires a particular strength in FF&E, procurement, supplier/product knowledge, and interior fit-out processes.

What We're Looking For

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in the interior design industry.

  • Strong client-facing experience within the high-end residential sector (private clients and developers).

  • A creative, polished portfolio showcasing design development, style, and technical capability.

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Photoshop, InDesign, MS Office, and experience with procurement systems (e.g., Estimac or similar).

  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to present work professionally, both digitally and physically.

  • Experience with budgeting, procurement, and overseeing installation phases.

  • Confident in producing design and finishing schedules for joinery, fit-outs, lighting, sanitaryware, and materials.

  • Experience coordinating with contractors and managing on-site design execution.

  • A positive, enthusiastic team player with strong communication skills and a genuine passion for design and industry trends.

Key Responsibilities

  • Designing interior schemes, bespoke joinery, and FF&E packages using CAD and Adobe Creative Suite.

  • Preparing and presenting concepts and design packages to clients and internal teams.

  • Managing your own projects from concept through completion, including pitching, client management, budgeting, and site coordination.

  • Producing detailed specification schedules for finishes, lighting and more.

  • Supporting the wider team during busy project phases and contributing positively to the creative studio environment.
