Financial Accountant

London | Hybrid

£70,000-£80,000k plus benefits

Join a high-calibre finance team as a Financial Accountant, taking ownership of core financial control, technical accounting and statutory reporting. This is a hands-on, business-facing role suited to someone who enjoys getting into the detail while driving continuous improvement across the function.

The Role

• Manage fixed asset accounting and reconciliations
• Lead IFRS 16 lease accounting
• Prepare statutory accounts and oversee change control
• Deliver high-quality, timely balance sheet reconciliations
• Support internal and external audits
• Provide technical guidance on accounting standards, company law and HMRC requirements
• Partner with finance and wider teams to strengthen controls and mitigate risk
• Support preparation of tax computations
• Pick up ad-hoc duties for the UK Financial Controller

About You

• ACA/ACCA qualified with strong technical accounting foundations
• Sharp communicator with a proactive, solutions-led mindset
• Detail-driven, controls-focused and comfortable challenging the status quo
