About the Role

Following its successful launch earlier in the year, we are expanding our US legal business.

We are looking to welcome on board an ambitious US Legal Recruiter with ideally 6-18 months of recruitment experience. This can be in US or UK legal recruitment, or another professional services market – providing you have an interest in private practice.

We are also open to candidates with no recruitment experience but who come from a legal background and wish to career change.

This is a hybrid position with the expectation to be in the office on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays; working from home on Wednesdays and Fridays. Your typical schedule will be 10am – 7pm.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively sourcing prospective US attorney candidates, registering them to the business, and representing and advising these US attorneys with regards to their next lateral move (acting as agent).
  • Headhunting attorneys for US law firms clients to assist with their hiring needs.
  • Building a client base of US law firms; developing relationships to shift from transactional to relationship driven
  • Meeting with US law firms to gain insight into their hiring, team growth, and culture
  • Research and identify legal job openings in the US market, utilising recruiter tech platforms, and prioritising key clients and busy practice areas.
  • Tracking active searches for star candidates.
  • Researching US legal news and preparing LinkedIn/website posts, working alongside the marketing team.

Skills & Experience

Essential:

  • Hunger to play a pivotal role in the growth of an emerging US recruitment business!
  • Law background/education.
  • Sales experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational and prioritisation abilities.
  • Fast learner with a strong attention to detail.
  • Tech proficiency.

Desirable:

  • Previous experience in recruitment whether that be US legal, UK legal or another recruitment industry.
  • Experience in private practice recruitment.
  • Understanding of the US legal market.

Why Join Us?

  • Opportunity to work in one of the recruitment industry’s most lucrative markets!
  • Excellent progression and earning potential.
  • Collaborative and supportive working culture.
  • Exposure to high-profile legal recruitment in the US market.
  • Clear processes, structured workflow, and strong team support.

If you are detail-oriented, process-driven, and excited by the opportunity to contribute to a growing international legal recruitment business, we would love to hear from you.
