Financial Controller – Bicester

£75,000 – £85,000 per annum

This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-pace manufacturing business in Bicester. With exciting growth plans, the FD is looking to hire a progressive Financial Controller to contribute to the next phase of their journey.

About the Role

As our Financial Controller, you will lead all day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and insightful reporting. You’ll work closely with senior leadership to drive strategic decision-making and help shape the financial future.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee full financial operations, including month-end and year-end processes
• Produce accurate management accounts, financial reports, and forecasts
• Manage budgeting, cashflow planning, and financial modelling
• Maintain robust financial controls and ensure regulatory compliance
• Work with external auditors, tax advisers, and banking partners
• Support leadership with strategic planning and commercial analysis
• Lead and develop small finance team
• Implement process improvements and system enhancements

About You

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent), or QBE
• Strong technical accounting skills and commercial insight
• Excellent communication with ability to partner across the business
• Comfortable operating in a creative, fast-paced SME environment
• Proactive, detail-oriented and confident improving processes and systems
