Boeing Global Services operates a 4,900 sq/m flight and technical training center in Crawley, West Sussex. The largest outside the US, it trains flight crew and maintenance personnel using classrooms, training devices, flight simulators, and a 787 training suite.
The Guest Services team provide a first class front of house service for all customers and visitors to the campus. The front desk is operational from 7am - 7pm, therefore various shifts are available for the successful candidate.
Main responsibilities will include:
Customer Liaison:
- Meet and greet campus visitors, which include checking in visitors attending simulator training sessions, classroom delegates, contractors and other visitors. Giving directions accordingly to the appropriate area of our facilities and information regarding H&S and the weekly fire alarm testing etc.
- To operate the reception switchboard, dealing with all customer enquries or connectiong them through to the appropriate person in a timely mannor.
- Operating the till on the front desk to process transactions for all purchases from the onsite Boeing store, along with replenishing and ordering stock.
- Preparing badges and paperwork for the following days’ visitors/students.
- Intial ID checks must be carried out with all visitors to the Centre and security badges with the correct access to be given.
- Operating the main car park barrier system using the CCTV and changing and updating the server and security data tapes. Ensuring the security system is used in line with the requirements of IT.
- Overseeing the locker and centre keys.
- Assisting with the weekly fire drill and safety testing.
- Liasing with the Security Guards at the end of the afternoon shift to ensure they have all the relevent information needed for their night shift.
- Handling all internal enquiries/requests sent to the group email inbox or via telephone in a timely mannor.
- Daily checking of our briefing and classrooms providing necessary stationary as required and reporting any faults/problems.
- Overseeing and monitoring the stationery for the Centre ensuring competive quotations are sought when ordering and replenishing stock.
- Raising purchase orders, requests for taxis and general filing duties.
- Sort and distribute incoming post and fully oversee the daily outgoing post collection including signing for all deliveries.
- Each shift will end with a documented handover for the next team member to utilise.
- Other general administrative duties as required from time to time
