Legal Counsel – FinTech (5+ PQE)

We’re supporting a fast-growing FinTech company in London that is looking to hire a Legal Counsel (5+ PQE) to join their expanding legal function. This is a broad, hands-on role offering exposure to a wide range of legal areas and the chance to be part of an exciting high-growth business.

The Role

You’ll work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to provide practical, business-focused legal support. The role spans commercial, regulatory, corporate, and privacy matters, giving you the opportunity to work on diverse projects in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts
• Provide day-to-day legal guidance across the business, including regulatory and compliance matters
• Assist with product, commercial, and operational legal queries
• Help develop internal processes, policies, and legal frameworks as the company scales

About You

• 5+ years PQE (law firm and/or in-house)
• Strong commercial contracts experience
• Comfortable advising across a range of legal areas
• Experience in technology, financial services, or a fast-paced, regulated industry is beneficial
• Proactive, adaptable, and able to work effectively with non-legal teams
• Able to be in the London office 3–4 days per week
