Inbound Business Development Representative

ComplyAdvantage is looking for an Inbound Business Development Representative in Greater London

Job description

What you will be doing:

As an Inbound Business Development Representative, you will:

  • Be part of the Business Development function responsible for converting high-intent inbound leads into qualified sales opportunities across EMEA.
  • Own the full qualification process for Marketing-sourced leads, executing discovery calls to uncover business needs, challenges, and strategic priorities
  • Achieve/exceed monthly pipeline generation targets by converting inbound interest into sales-ready opportunities for our Account Executive team
  • Develop deep product knowledge to articulate our value proposition and align our solutions with prospect needs across different Financial Services verticals
  • Execute a disciplined qualification framework (MEDDICC or similar) to ensure only high-quality opportunities progress to sales
  • Maintain meticulous hygiene in Salesforce, documenting all prospect interactions, qualification criteria, and next steps to enable seamless handoffs
  • Leverage our tech stack efficiently (Salesforce, Outreach, Gong, etc.) to manage pipeline, track activity, and continuously improve performance
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing to provide feedback on lead quality, campaign performance, and market intelligence
  • Partner with Account Executives to refine handoff processes and ensure continuity in the buyer journey
  • Become a student of our industry, building expertise in Financial Services trends, pain points, and competitive landscape

About you:

As an Inbound BDR, you will have:

  • High intellectual horsepower – You're analytically strong, curious, and can quickly synthesize complex information to identify what matters
  • Coachability – You actively seek feedback, iterate rapidly, and view every call as an opportunity to improve
  • Strong character – You operate with integrity, take ownership of outcomes, and do what you say you'll do
  • Entrepreneurial mindset – You're a self-starter who takes initiative, solves problems resourcefully, and thrives in dynamic environments
  • Process discipline – You understand that consistency drives results and can execute a repeatable qualification methodology with rigor
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (recent graduates and career changers welcome)
  • Exceptional communication skills – both written and verbal – with the ability to build rapport quickly and ask insightful questions
  • Comfort with ambiguity and a desire to build something, not just execute a playbook
  • Competitive drive and resilience – you're motivated by targets and bounce back quickly from setbacks
  • A desire to build a career in B2B sales, using this role as a launching pad into Account Executive or specialized sales roles
  • Experience in Financial Services, SaaS, or B2B sales environments is a plus but not required – we'll teach you what you need to know

What's in it for you?

  • Equity as we want you to have a part of what we are building
  • Unlimited Time Off Policy to promote work-life balance and well-being
  • Annual learning budget to support professional growth
  • Budget to set up your home office upon joining
  • Enhanced parental leave and childcare benefits
  • Life insurance and medical coverage through BUPA, including pre-existing conditions
  • Pension contribution through The People's Pension
