Role Summary*
The Sr. Director, Sales and Workforce Solutions, will serve as a strategic partner to clients, applying solution selling techniques to diagnose workforce challenges and deliver tailored talent strategies. This role drives revenue by aligning our services—such as staffing, talent acquisition, training, and workforce analytics—with client goals across industries.
Key Accountabilities, Responsibilities
- Apply solution selling to uncover client pain points in workforce planning, talent gaps, and operational inefficiencies
- Design and deliver customized workforce solutions, including staffing models, training programs, and retention strategies
- Build and maintain strong relationships with HR leaders, hiring managers, and executive stakeholders
- Conduct needs assessments and workforce audits to inform strategic recommendations
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless implementation of workforce solutions
- Negotiate contracts and close deals that align with client goals and company revenue targets
- Track market trends in labor, skills demand, and regulatory shifts to inform consulting strategy
- Provide post-sale support and performance tracking to ensure client satisfaction and solution effectiveness
Qualifications
Required Experience & Skills
- 8+ years of experience in sales, consulting, or workforce solutions
- Proven track record of leading and specifically closing MSP consulting or workforce solutions deals
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Proven success in enterprise software sales, especially with platforms like Workday, SAP, Oracle, or similar
- • Experience managing channel sales and strategic alliances
- • Expertise in solution selling, consultative sales, and workforce strategy
- • Strong understanding of HRIS, ERP, and talent management systems
- • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- • Proficiency in CRM and analytics tools (e.g., Salesforce, Tableau, Workday)
Nice to Haves
- Experience working in a global matrixed environment
- Experience selling and delivering ancillary HR services, such as staffing or RPO
- In-depth knowledge and experience in recruiting, workforce solutions, or human capital industry
- Familiarity with labor market dynamics and workforce compliance
